Who We Are
Christina Grasso, Co-Founder
Christina Grasso is a writer, social media consultant, and very old soul originally from the suburbs of Amish Country in Western PA (read: Middle of Nowhere). Over the past 6 years she has worked with Nylon, Huffington Post, StyleCaster, Oscar de la Renta, Law and Order: SVU, and Nanette Lepore.. She currently works in digital at Revlon. In addition to her work in fashion and beauty, Christina serves as a board member for Glam4Good Foundation and Project HEAL; as the President of her college's alumnae club; as an active volunteer for New York Cares, and unabashed Stevie Nicks fangirl. She is a frequent speaker on eating disorder awareness and her own recovery from anorexia, which she has battled for 16 years. Christina graduated from Saint Mary's College with concentrations in Communication and Italian. She lives in Manhattan with her cat, Beatrice "Betty" Littlepiddles, and her dying plant, Gloria Gaynor.
Ruthie Friedlander, Co-Founder
Ruthie Friedlander is the Special Projects Director at InStyle, where she oversees digital fashion content, e-commerce, and various integrated programs across the brand. She joined InStyle from Elle.com, where she was Deputy Editor, and prior to that, The Row, where she was the senior digital manager. Before that, she worked at Chanel, where she was responsible for growing online editor relationships and strategizing social media. She graduated from NYU’s Gallatin School with a concentration in computer science and media studies. In her free time, she likes to take photos with her cat, Gracie, dress up, and drink copious amounts of coffee.
Ruthie has struggled with an eating disorder for 19 years and proudly sought recovery through Balance Eating Disorder Treatment Center.
